Alan plans to spend £100 winnings on his ‘pride and joy’

Alan Varey is spending the £100 he won with the Chestnut Tree House Lottery on his pride and joy – his classic Rover P6 3500 V8 from the 1960s.

Alan, from Billingshurst, says: “I’ve been working on this car for years – as well as three motorbikes – and I go to car shows with it.  This £100 will be spent on the car, in some form or another. It’s a terrific car, and now it’s going to get even better.”

Alan has been playing the Lottery for a few years but has never won before.  He added: “Someone came knocking on my door and I was very impressed with what he told me about Chestnut Tree House.  I just felt I had to make some contribution to such a fantastic cause.”
