Cream Tea for £100 winner Alister

Alister Pirie has been waiting all his life to win something – and now he has he’s wondering how to spend the money.

Alister, from Worthing, won £100 with the Chestnut Tree House Lottery.  “I’ve never won anything before, so I didn’t expect to win this.  When that cheque dropped out of the envelope I couldn’t believe my eyes.  I had to keep looking at it.

“So I thought we would go out and have a little treat – I’m particularly partial to a cream tea.  The only problem is that I’m not sure we’re allowed to go anywhere at the moment, with the coronavirus situation.  These are strange times we’re living through. But I’ll work something out.

“In the meantime we will go on supporting Chestnut Tree House.  The Lottery is such a very easy way to support a really great charity.”
