Robert will be ordering a very special Sunday roast from his favourite pub after winning £100 with the Chestnut Tree House Lottery.
Robert, from Hailsham, says “The pub I love going to is The Ash Tree Inn in Ashburnham. It’s shut now, of course, because of coronavirus. But they still do wonderful takeaway meals and have just started doing Harvey’s beer too, which is great.
“My daughter, Zoe, and her husband live nearby and we love sharing a Sunday roast. I’m disabled now – I recently lost my second leg – and this is a real treat for me. And the next one will be a special treat.
“I used to be involved with street collections for the Chailey Heritage Foundation. And it was through them that I first heard about Chestnut Tree House. I think it’s a bloody brilliant charity, and I marvel at all the good work they do. I’m so happy to support it.”
Play the Chestnut Tree House Lottery and provide life-changing care to local children with life-shortening conditions, week after week.
It costs just £1 a week and you’ll be in with a chance of winning £1,000 every single Friday.
